Thank you for contacting Bio Bidet Support. Below are the steps to complete a hard rest:
-Remove the batteries from the remote control.
-Close the water shut off valve and disconnect the power plug from the wall outlet. Press the release button if necessary. Lift the unit up and slide it forward to remove from the catch plate.
-Raise the unit to view the underside where the drain bolt is located. Use a coin or flat head screwdriver to move the drain bolt from the close position to the open position (1/4 to 1/2 turn only) to drain the unit of its water. You may need to open the drain bolt fully by using the flat side of the screwdriver. Turn the bidet over so the drain is now facing downward and draining into the toilet or a bowl to prevent any water spilling onto another surface.
-Once fully drained, close and secure the drain bolt, reinstall the unit and allow it to sit undisturbed for roughly 30 minutes.
-Open the water shut off valve, wait at least 30 seconds then plug the power plug into the electrical outlet. Hold down the STOP button on the side control panel for 5 seconds. This will cause the bidet to reset and power down. Power on the unit and allow the power cycle to complete. Test for functionality
-Replace the batteries in the remote control and test that all functions are working as expected
After completing the hard reset complete the pairing procedure again.
